The last donations have arrived. Special thanks to the members of the Rotary Club Győr Rába for their help. The donations of the Club are now closed, you have been fantastic.
Budapest Uzsoki hospital maternity ward
Today the donation of the club was handed over. The nurses were speechless, it became a decoration of their ward. I think it could not have gone to a better place. Many thanks to all the club members who participated. Gábor Nagy, János Radir Grandpa Radák, Gábor Bodnár, Zoltán Bánki.

Hencida – József Balogh’s report
A little report from today. Hencida is a very poor village in Hajdú Bihar County. Here a sick mother and her family live in a house that the parent left them only debts after his death.We left after 7 o’clock in the morning with great excitement to bring a little joy to the family’s life. We got there at 9.30. They came out to see us with great joy and tears in their eyes. The mom after the first bag of gifts froze completely at how much we had brought them. She had a hard time untying herself but my daughter when she handed over the girly present with tears in her eyes but a smile on her face was very happy. For the little boy we brought legos, board games and a bike which he didn’t even have yet, mum said at least now he is learning to ride a bike. We managed to bring a lot of clothes for all four of them. They were also very happy with the Christmas tree and the beautiful decorations. A very good friend of mine who has a grocery store donated 4 crates of groceries and cleaning supplies. We are glad we could help . It all went to a really good place.

As we ran out of time here in far away Germany, we started a private campaign with my “little” Big family on behalf of the Club. As participants of a collection and donation drive organized by Mikulásgyár Budapest, we brought down to the fishing lake in Ötisheim (BW, collection point) the packages collected by 4 families in total. Clothes, lots of toys and food packs filled Maxi’s stomach. My daughters also got a little snack from the toga host for their help. If not a lot, and not for many, we did a little for a few people’s merrier Christmas!

Szentendre – Report by Tamás Berényi
We had a great day today! A small welcome committee was waiting for us in Szentendre, nice guys with sparkling eyes showed us the way to the apartment. There was shock and delight when we entered with our bags and boxes! It was so nice to see what a great place there would be for small goodies alongside all the long-life food, tinned goods and clothes. In addition, Anita, the youngest daughter, just had her birthday today, and the S-Max Santa Claus even brought her a special present!:)Thank you again, Jancsi, for your energy and perseverance, you have achieved results! We are looking forward to the next time to meet you!

There were touching moments when the mother told us how they live, how they got into this situation, although not so long ago she helped others. She didn’t want to believe that everything was theirs, that unknown people were helping them, but here the candle broke, she thanked them several times in tears.
Of course, the man is embarrassed, but let’s admit it, the heart is beating fast. The donation went to the right place.

Albertirsa (written by László Kula Club member)
A knight has returned home, turbo stops, engine cools down, Albertirsa mission slowly comes to an end! We brought light into the life of a mother of 3! We delivered them durable food, cleaning products, clothes, washing powder etc. We took the little boy to a clothing store, he asked for sweaters and a pair of padded pants. And then came the surprise! The representative of Mothers for Mothers Foundation called the mother and invited us to an impromptu meeting where they handed over a laptop, lots of clothes, soccer balls, and a washcloth to the little boy! The mother-in-law and my son and I struggled for long minutes and tears to… I’m still swallowing hard! They’ll pull through for a while, with the present donation, but their heating is still not fixed! It was 13 degrees outside in the yard and about 5 inside, but I think an angel is on his way! We’re resting, breathing, processing the miracle that has happened to us, and getting ready for next week’s mission! Get ready, angels are coming!
